This also serves as a reminder that our private boat launch is not open to the public. This has never been permitted and remains strictly prohibited. Our resort is private property and is reserved exclusively for our registered in-house guests. If you have rented a paddle board, canoe, kayak, or inflatable dock from us, you are welcome to launch your rental from our boat launch. However, renting equipment does not include day-use privileges or access to our docks, beach, or other resort facilities. Rentals are for the watercraft only. With the public boat launch now closed, we anticipate an increase in unauthorized access. This wonderful family arrived by boat, and stopped by our live music last night! ? They have been a local family on Heffley lake for 50+ years. They have watched 3 different families own, what we now call the Lakeside Heffley Hideaway✨?. It was so cool listening to their stories about coming here as children themselves. They were so impressed with all the changes we have made, we LOVE hearing this✨ They even bought some of our hats to rep around the lake.
