As a local resident of the lake, we’ve had the pleasure to meet up with friends at the Hideaway for some live music, tacos, burgers and more! Whether you’re staying there, on the lake or passing through as you head to Sun Peaks stop by the Hideaway… you won’t be disappointed."

"We were looking for a place to get away with the kids and found this gem located right on the water of Heffley Lake. It was just perfect. The cabins are private and have an authentic rustic feel, but are also very well maintained, clean and functional. Both cabins we rented had phenomenal views overlooking the lake, with covered decks, but there are also several fully serviced sites for those who want to bring their RV up. Heffley is FULL of fish, which made it really fun for the kids, and they had boat rentals and a little convenience store as well as a restaurant on site. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful and were always available if we needed something. For those that don’t own a “beach house” this is the next best thing, and I would highly recommend."

"The perfect place if you are looking for a quite camping spot with all the amenities!
We have stayed here numerous times and each stay was so memorable! We loved how clean the restroom/ shower facility were, the views of the lake all around the campground and the numerous docks to access the lake. We highly recommend renting a paddle board and cruising the lake and checking out the rope swings! The gift shop has everything you need and more to make the trip extra fun for the kids ! We also highly recommend checking out the food truck - the tacos are a must. We also would go up for churros and ice cream at sunset! I think our favorite thing about this little hideaway is the sounds of nature all around you, especially the loons and how clean Hefley lake is!"

"We didn't have to drive forever and spend loads of money to find the perfect haven to host our family camping trip. To camp right on the most beautiful, warm lake and be surrounded by nature was simply paradise. The hosts were delightful, the facilities were clean and the location was ideal. We can't wait to make this our annual family camping location. Highly recommend it!

We had an absolute blast celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday here at the resort! The staff were lovey leading up to the event taking care of all the bookings and making sure everyone had what they needed! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot, the lake was so nice with a view from every campsite! The cabins are so cute and nicely decorated and so clean!!! The bistro is phenomenal and all our friends kept raving about how delicious the food was (great job Juan and Ryder in the food truck!!) Thank you so much to all the staff at the Lakeside Heffley Hideaway you made our stay amazing!!! We will be back for sure and so will our friends who joined us!

Just stayed for a week long family vacation and will definitely be back! The campsite is well maintained, and the size of the sites is what can be expected in this area. We were a group of 20+ and there was plenty of room for us in the upper campsites. The owners were so friendly and accommodating and happy to help with whatever we needed. The lake is so beautiful and refreshing - there are two fun Tarzan swings to find, and great kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing.
Embleton Mountain across the road has some great hiking trails (and of course Sun Peaks 15 minutes away). Thanks, Lakeside Heffley Hideaway for such a memorable vacation!

A Hidden Gem for Families!
We had an amazing time at Heffley Hideaway Restaurant and Café! The owner was so friendly and welcoming—it really felt like a home away from home. The food was great, the atmosphere was cozy, and the view was absolutely stunning.
Perfect spot for families, with lots of recreational activities to enjoy around the area. The cabin was beautiful—clean, comfortable, and full of charm. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with good food and great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked the entire Lakeside Heffley Hideaway site for a big birthday celebration, and it was perfect! Having everyone together in one location made the experience so special. The lake views are stunning, and several of the sites are right beside the water—waking up to that view was a dream. Communication was clear, friendly, and helpful from start to finish, which made planning so much easier.
As a surprise bonus, we were even treated to a display of the northern lights over the lake one night—an unforgettable moment that made the weekend feel truly magical. Highly recommend this hidden gem for group gatherings or a peaceful lakeside getaway!
